MEET THE BUYERS, Fruit & Veg B2B Event, will take place on the 15 October 2026, Mersin, Turkey.

It is a specialised event in the fruit and vegetable sector, aimed at establishing direct relationships between Turkish producers and exporters, companies coming from other Mediterranean countries, and buyers from retail chains and importing companies worldwide. It is the first event of its kind in the Turkish fresh produce sector, created to foster direct commercial connections across the Mediterranean region.

Organized as a B2B event, it features one-to-one, face-to-face meetings between fresh fruit and vegetable suppliers and purchasing managers from supermarket chains and importing companies representing major international markets.

The event takes place in Mersin, one of Türkiye’s main seaports and a strategic logistics hub connecting the country with European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets.

How do the B2B meetings look like

The goal of the meetings is to enter in a direct access to high quality production companies (no intermediaries) and create direct commercial agreements.

The B2B meetings connect production companies (producers, exporters, cooperatives, packing companies) with fruit and vegetables buyers from supermarket chains, import companies, wholesalers and food service distributors.

They are organized in one-to-one in-persone meetings where both sides sit together at a table to present products, discuss pricing and volumes and explore long-term supply opportunities. The meetings last 15–20 minutes each and are scheduled on an agenda.

The format is highly time-efficient, allowing participants to meet multiple producers from different companies and countries at one table and in one day, with no need to move from one stand to another, which increases the efficiency and effectiveness.
